Jibanananda Das

Jibanananda Das, often referred to simply as Jibonanondo, was a renowned Bengali poet who made significant contributions to modern Bengali literature. He was born on February 17, 1899, in Barisal, Bengal Presidency, British India (now in Bangladesh). Das is widely considered one of the most important poets of the 20th century in the Bengali language.
