Sunil Gangopadhyay

Sunil Gangopadhyay, often referred to as Sunil Ganguly, was a renowned Bengali poet and novelist from India. He was born on September 7, 1934, in Faridpur, which was then part of British India (now in Bangladesh), and he passed away on October 23, 2012, in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
